Yulan Festival Virtual Museum:
Hong Kong Memory
The Yulan virtual museum produced by Professor Selina Chan vividly presents the history, memories, heritage, and contemporary significance of the Hungry Ghosts (Yulan) Festival in Hong Kong through various forms such as comics, animations, 3D models, recordings, 2D and 3D videos, historical images, old newspaper articles, and games.
Visitors can enter the museum as avatars and interact with other virtual visitors inside the museum to engage in discussions, thereby deepening their understanding of the Hungry Ghost Festival, Hong Kong history, and Chinese culture.
