On April 27, 2024, the sharing session "Applied Knowledge: Museums and Moral Culture Learning " co-organized by the Loke Kwok Kuen Chinese Cultural Legacy Research Trust and the Tin Ka Ping Centre Teaching and Research Centre for Filial Piety, HKSYU, was held at RLB303, Research Complex, Hong Kong Shue Yan University.
During the session, Professor Cheung Siu-Keung, Associate Vice President (University Administration) of Hong Kong Shue Yan University made the opening speech. Ms. Yeung Sau-ling, Curator of Po Leung Kuk Museum, shared the museum's history. The session was attended by ten secondary schools, including Po Leung Kuk C. W. Chu College, Carmel Bunnan Tong Memorial Secondary, Pui Shing Catholic Secondary School, HKFEW Wong Cho Bau Secondary School, ELCHK Lutheran Secondary School, St. Antonius Girls’ College, Queen Elizabeth School Old Students’ Association Tong Kwok Wah Secondary School, Lok Sin Tong Wong Chung Ming Secondary School, Buddhist Tai Hung College and Lai King Catholic Secondary School. The attendees shared three themes: museums and teaching, the legacy of diversified learning and education, and the knowledge of museums in the living experience.
